Key Account Manager (Billing Team)

Data-Driven Lab

is an international IT company headquartered in Belgrade. We develop products in different business industries like fintech, edtech, and analysis. Nowadays, our products are represented in 150 countries.
Our goal is to make our products the most convenient in the world. We use research, data analysis, and optimized marketing to achieve our goal.
There are over 450 people on our team. We offer relocation to Serbia as well as remote work.

Among our colleagues are guys from telecommunications, fintech, and IT market leaders (Bolt, Tele2, Google, and others).
Challenge
In the first three months, you will need to build trusting and productive relationships with current payment partners and execute at least 3-5 projects to develop partnerships by agreeing on terms, maintaining the communication process during development, and closing the project with a partner and within the team.
You will
— Manage projects to develop relationships with partners, from agreeing on the terms of the project to implementing the project and communicating the results to the partner and within the team.

— Proactively identify and offer opportunities to develop relationships with payment system providers:

— Look for payment methods among current vendors under the target request of the billing operations team;
— Negotiate the terms of work with the vendor/payment system in the interests of the company;
— Control the process of negotiating additional contracts within the company.

— Analyze the performance of critical partnerships, and initiate communications and projects based on partnership data and context.

— Develop a network of payment professionals in the regions where the products are present.

— Research payment system trends in target markets and help shape payment system development strategy.

It’s a match if you
— Are pedantic and organized; can describe which project/task management systems you prefer and what methods of personal effectiveness you use.

— Have worked on at least five successful B2B technology projects.

— Have examples of successfully held negotiations on more favorable terms.

— Can calculate the mathematics of the project on a napkin, both from the company's side and the negotiating partner's side.

— Are fluent in English, and have closed deals with non-Russian speaking partners.

— Know how to organize communication channels so that essential issues reach their addressees and are resolved promptly.

— Make decisions based on data and broader context.

— Are willing to travel to target markets, including Southeast Asia and Latin.
